The Process
5 Simple Steps
Unbox Your Kit
Step 01Your home sleep test kit arrives in a small, discreet package with everything pre-labeled. Lay out all components and confirm everything is included before test night.
Charge & Prepare
Step 02Charge the device fully the afternoon before your test. Follow your normal evening routine — avoid alcohol, heavy meals, and sedating medications unless prescribed.
Attach the Sensors
Step 03Slip the finger sensor (pulse oximeter) onto your index finger. Position the nasal cannula under your nose to measure airflow. Secure the chest strap or belt around your torso. Each part clips or slides on in seconds.
Sleep in Your Own Bed
Step 04Press the start button — it will flash green when recording. Sleep as you normally would. The device silently records your oxygen levels, heart rate, airflow, and breathing effort all night.
Return the Device
Step 05In the morning, press the stop button and remove the sensors. Place the device back in its case, seal it in the prepaid return envelope, and drop it in any USPS mailbox or post office.

Common Questions
Device FAQ
What if a sensor falls off during the night?
Simply reattach it and go back to sleep. If you wake up and find it off, it's okay — the device records data whenever sensors are properly in place. As long as you get 4+ hours of valid data, the study is typically usable.
Do I need a prescription or physician referral?
Yes. A physician order is required for a home sleep test. If your primary care doctor has referred you to us, we handle the rest. If you're self-referring, call us at (877) 775-3377 and we can help coordinate.
How long until I get my results?
Once we receive the returned device, our board-certified sleep physicians typically review the data within 2-3 business days. You'll receive your results and a treatment plan directly.
Can I take the test if I have a cold or nasal congestion?
It's best to reschedule if you have significant nasal congestion, as this can affect the nasal airflow sensor readings. Call us to reschedule at no charge.
What if I can't fall asleep wearing the device?
Some first-night effect is normal. Even light, interrupted sleep typically provides enough data. If you genuinely get fewer than 3 hours, contact us — we may send a replacement device for a retest.
