Step-by-Step

5 Simple Steps

Step 01

Unbox Your Dream Device Kit

Your Dream device kit arrives in a compact package. Lay out all components: the wrist recorder, finger sensor, and instruction card. Confirm everything is included.

Typically ships within 1-2 business days of approval.

Step 02

Charge & Prepare

Charge the Dream recorder fully before your test night. Follow your normal evening routine — avoid alcohol, heavy meals, and sedating medications unless prescribed.

A full charge lasts the entire night of recording.

Step 03

Attach the Device

Secure the Dream recorder on your wrist like a watch. Attach the finger sensor to your index finger. The wrist unit records breathing patterns, oxygen levels, and sleep position automatically.

Takes about 2 minutes. No chest strap or nasal cannula needed.

Step 04

Sleep in Your Own Bed

Press the start button on the wrist recorder — the indicator light confirms recording has begun. Sleep as you normally would. The device silently captures your sleep data throughout the night.

The compact wrist design is comfortable for all sleep positions.

Step 05

Return the Device

In the morning, press stop and remove the sensors. Place the device back in its case, seal it in the prepaid return envelope, and drop it at any USPS location.

Results are sent to your physician within 7-10 business days.

Common Questions

Dream Device FAQ

What makes the Dream device different from other sleep test devices?
The Dream device is a compact wrist-worn recorder that eliminates the need for a chest strap and nasal cannula. It uses advanced sensors to measure sleep patterns through the wrist and finger, making it one of the most comfortable home sleep test options available.
Do I need a prescription for the Dream device?
Yes. A physician order is required for all home sleep tests. If your doctor has referred you to us, we handle the rest. Call (877) 775-3377 if you need help coordinating.
How long until I get my results?
Once we receive the returned device, our board-certified sleep physicians typically review the data and send results to your doctor within 7-10 business days.
What if the finger sensor falls off during the night?
Simply reattach it and go back to sleep. As long as you get 4+ hours of valid data, the study is typically usable.
Can I take the test if I have a cold?
Since the Dream device doesn't use a nasal cannula, mild congestion is less of an issue than with other devices. However, if you're significantly ill, it's best to reschedule. Call us at no charge.
